Like most ppl i was having really bad video lag. I went into bios and changed hdd acoustics to performance and i noticed a 100% incrase in video. no lag at all now. Yall may want to give it a try.

Edit. also i just noticed if u go into video options and down to troubleshooting there is an opting to use dual cores. mine was default off

do you mean you got a 100% increase in Frames per second?

if so where is that option in bios?

my computer would get super choppy going into citys and would almost crash in millenium city. now its smooth. no choppyness at all. I went into bios and then performance. I get around 30-40 fps now. i have a dual core 2.1ghz, 3gig ram, and a 8800gts

Yes, he is talking about his motherboard bios and his hard drive was set to run slower and quieter. The only reason I can see that he would have such a dramatic increase with changing just this setting is that he doesn't have enough RAM so the computer is heavily relying on virtual memory.
