What does /anonymous do?

I type it..and still see myself come up in search..?

Does it perhaps require an argument to turn it off or on? Like "/anonymous 1" to turn it on, for instance, and a zero to turn it off?

Were I at home, I'd dig around in game and see what I could see. I thought I spied a menu option somewhere to hide your status. Ah well.

you just type /anon and it says "You are now anonymous."

But I don't think it does anything? Maybe a feature in development to let us hide in the future so we can play on secret alts?

Have you tried having someone else search for you? Maybe you can't hide from yourself.

I've tried it. people can still search for me.

I wonder if this is a to-be-implemented feature.
