I was wondering, if you select to preorder from BestBuy, will they email you the code if you choose shipping, or in store pickup, or both? Will gamestop email it to you if you choose instore pickup?

I pre-ordered in-store and they didn't give me any nortification so I just went down to the Gamestop on the 14th to get it. The open beta code you got from the retailer is the same code used for Early Start. If you never got an open beta code, you'll have to wait for September 1st.

Thank you for responding! However, I have only input a preorder into Bestbuy as of aug 29th, so I would have never gotten an OB code. I have only participated in the free-open-to-all beta. I was more hoping for info on BestBuy as I have a giftcard with them and would like to save some money, saving Gamestop as a last resort. Are both retailers not sending emails AND have stopped receiving physical instore codes? have I missed my chance for early access entirely?
I apologize for all these questions, but this sort of info doesnt seem to be diclosed anywhere. I just remembr reading on Champions' site that those two retailers were supposed to give early access keys.

Pretty sure you just missed the early start. People were saying that they wern't able to get they're open beta codes (same code needed for early start) on the 15th because the Gamestops were saying that they were "out" and were not giving out anymore. Not sure about Bestbuy but most likely the same thing. You'll probably just have to wait for the 1st.
