My son has a computer that is higher than the minimum specs listed but the game is completely unplayable. We have turned the graphics down to minimum and resolution to 800x600 and still get FPS of 14-17 and barely any better with UI turned off. That's with little to no "action" on screen. With a few enemies on screen and fighting it becomes a slide show. The are also objects that aren't loading (ex: only 4 tires where an entire car should be, people missing their torso, people sitting on invisible benches, etc). Sometimes there are white boxes instead of power charging bars or enemy health bars too. I have fallen through the ground on multiple occasions as well.
I have the latest drivers and direct x installed. I also tried turning off Catalyst AI as was suggested by another thread but it didn't help. Here are the system specs:
AMD Athalon 3700+ (2.45ghz single core)
Sapphire Radeon HD3850 512mb (AGP)
2GB Ram
Plenty of hard-drive space and a 1.5GB static page file
Windows XP Pro 32-bit w/SP2 and all updates
I don't know what the problem is or what to do to fix it. :confused:
