I'm assuming that like all super villians, Mechaniste in the Project Awakening instance has a perk associated with killing him...

But if you rewite the turrents so that they kill him, you don't get any perk for it...

edited for spelling, i just cant stand looking at the non word turrents when there is no n in turrets :\

honestly, but anyway on to the issue at hand, sence i couldn't help by post because of the whole turrent thing...

Are you saying that if you don't directly kill him you don't get the perk? sounds less like a bug and more like an intended feature, although depending on the mission (i haven't had a chance to play it yet so I'm not entirely sure, I'm just going off of what limited mmo info i have right now on CO)

If its part of the mission where the only way TO kill him is to use the turrets, then yes that's a bug and you should be able to get the perk by contacting a gm and telling him whats going on (active bug report and perk gain sence you did actually complete the mission)

Anyway, my $0.03

i didn't receive credit for the perk and my group did not use the turrets to kill him. we took him down in an old fashioned tank n spank. I did some damage to him ,but as a support class, my job was to keep the group healed and lock down the guard in the room

Edited for grammar mistakes and word usage/redundancies. :P

Yes, either way it's a bug. Rewiring the turrets just makes the fight easier. See if an in-game report has been created, or contact a GM.
