View Full Version : Particle Mine - Underpowered?

Particle Mine at level 6 did a total of 77 damage. For an ability with a 30 second cooldown, this seems rediculously underpowered.

Does it perform better at higher levels?

At this damage, I would suggest removing the cooldown entirely and allowing the user to place up to 3 particle mines, and allow 5 placements with an advantage.

Pretty gimp by itself, but once feated for aoe knockback it's pretty nice.

But on a 30 second cooldown, it's damage isn't justififed. I'd be fine with the damage if you could place more than one at a time.

I agree but would like the Cd lowered and there would have to be a maximum number, such as 3 mines to prevent spam.

During Open Beta when boosted to 40 with Rank 2 and the KB proc, I found it a great tool with decent (around 1K) damage.

Certainly going to be part of my build, just not early on.

Hate to ruin your expectations, but currently if you want mines that do damage, go mini mines.

Took particle mine to level 3 just because I love the concept of it and....

wow... 132 damage?!
