Power Replacers List
I'm hoping to compile all of the different Power Replacers, especially the non-crafting ones, into one place. I'd like to eventually add in pictures/videos of what the unlockables look like. The lists below are just a run through of the current crafting Power Replacers (up to 370, just from the starter trainers atm), I'll try to clean up a bit later (work soon ack >.>) and might consider adding in a few sections for each grouping (i.e. by framework/buff) once it gets big enough (or there's enough demand heh).
Also, a little side note, the numbers in parentheses are the level needed to buy the blueprint. For example, the Flintlock Pistol Diagram has a (30) by it, therefore, any Power Replacers ABOVE it require 30 as well.
On to the lists!

and it's in science.
I was trying to make a makeshift "magic" user using force and Telekensis, because I don't like all the pentagram stuff with sorcery, but it seems like force is getting shafted in a lot of areas like this one, especially since I don't use PFF.

There might be only one force replacer in science, but there are dozens, if not more, dropped/quested for/perk rewards etc, in the game. I think I have about 4 on my character currently, and Im only 23.

Is anyone aware of a power replacer for the supernatural set that changes the look of the chain type attacks?
In the fansite kit it showed a fiery chain and some sort of light thing, I understand that was awhile back but just wondering.
I had my heart set on using tentacle like attacks, but all my tentacles have chains on the inside

A few power sets really got the shaft when it comes to power replacers, Might and Martial Arts. I don't think I've ever seen one for Might and very few for MA. I understand we're not using a weapon per say, but it would be nice to have an option to add effects to attacks.

Is the Gatling Pistol only usaeable by Munitions users? I couldn't see the whole tool tip and put it in Primary Offense slot and it doesn't appear to do anything, as far as attack described in part of tool tip I could see.

I only know of 2 force replacers. One is kinetic (adds gold around hands when used) and the other is Toxic (green around the hands when used)

I added a blurb about this at the top, but yes, this is just the current list from the starter trainers. I really just ran over to the trainers and copied down the lists. But try to act impressed.

If it isn't a power (i.e. clickable), then I'm fairly sure it's just for Munitions (or whatever framework). You can go to a tailor and check the weapons section to see. I'm a little disappointed that PRs don't effect all your characters, but that would detract from grabbing a lot of the quest PRs (even though they are usually the only reward sans Experience/Resources).

You might try the [Band of Sorcerous Might] - 175 Mysticism or [Psi-crystal] - 75 Science. I haven't gotten around to testing what all of the PRs look like/do (school just started here) so I'm not sure exactly what the additions to non-weapon (i. e. Sorcery) sets really do. I have heard that a few features were dropped from Closed Beta though. Considering they are the only Supernatural PRs I've heard of/seen, it's worth a shot. 175 isn't too difficult to get, especially if it's an integral part of your character concept.
Here's hoping they add in non-eye costume glow effects again!

thanks!

Most (if not all) Power Replacers work by equipping them like any other item, which subsequently "unlocks" the piece it "contains" for your use at the tailor. You can see the pieces (usually weapons) at the tailor regardless of whether your selected powers can use them or not (i.e. a gun PR and you only have Electric).
Keep in mind that the piece works ONLY for that character, unless it's a special PR (from a promotion, etc.), though most of the drops are BOE (you can send them to other characters who can use it) or are from crafting/questing and are "available" to all.
Edit: Forgot to mention, you can equip THEN un-equip the item and continue to use the costume piece; you don't have to give up the stats (which are usually terrible if there are any) by keeping it equipped.

The Kukri from Arms would probably be a good, quick way to grab a knife/dagger. It'll probably take a lot of pictures/videos and work to try and compile all of the different looks that are actually unlocked via Power Replacers, but eventually I suspect that they'll be filled.
Other than that, most of the Single Blade PR's I've seen (based on their names) are axes or a short sword/swords. Not too sure about the Dual Blade PR's though. Also, many of the PR's don't actually change the weapon (i.e. adds fire around the equipped weapon).

U-ELC Screech Owl Pistol - +sonic?

Thanks Haggler. this is the best explanation of how replacers are supposed to work. I was actually very confused by the idea of having to keep the replacer equipped. The stats on them seemed to suck compared the other stuff I was already using :)

Cryokinetic Crystal - +ice to Telekinesis blade attacks
I believe that might be what you're looking for. Again, these are only the trainer crafting PR's with a few quest/drops added, I'm assuming (hoping) that more will be added to help flesh out character concepts.
Also, some of the +x to y framework PR's only add in some color/animation while others change the weapons (and probably color/animations).

Yeah but from my experience this gets rid of any "sound" attached to the weapon atm. So not sure if that will work for you.

Can anyone tell me if any of the "laser" replace models actual make assault rifle or pistols look and sound like laser guns? My only experience so far has been with the Gatling Pistol that did change the sounds and looks and the Qular which I used on my sonic blaster which changed the look of the gun but not the power or its sound. (this may be because its not munitions though, not sure.)

I think he was asking whether any of them change the look of the ego blades. I don't know if the one you mention does that.
I know that a lot of the others are not consistent in their functions - just taking a couple of low-level Munitions examples, the Shorty blaster changes the look of your handguns while it is equipped but doesn't unlock any new costume piece, while the Blunderbuss does both for shotguns.

Claws may have a ton of Power Replaces, but none of them have a special costume piece.
The other weapons have what seems like 5+ costume unlocks from each crafting skill and additional ones from drops, mission rewards and Perks.

I believe there are different level versions of pretty much all items except unique ones. I found that go to sell or research the item helps. The mouseover for them seems to work different and you can get the info at the top of the tool tip.

The fuel-air explosive one is a power replace that only takes 125 to craft.
I have a +sonic power replacer for Power Armor that I got as a drop or a quest reward, too. So far those are the only power replacers I've seen for PA.

Power replaces replace the sound and looks of the gun and the projectiles. However if you then use an unlocked slot it only replaces the model, making it not even nearly as cool. My favorite assault rifle so far was the "ice" one crafted in science. It looked and sounded MUCH cooler but alas, can't use it. :( Qularr early headstart is the model I use now... but of course without the funkt projectiles and stuff. This is an issue I've brought up in another post of mine.

Hi Haggler,
Well written guide here! However, can I make a small suggestion? I found out that certain power replacers do NOT add costumes (eg Ohm claws, the ones that add electricity). In addition, certain power replacers do NOT work for ALL powers in that framework. For example, Evocarti's Fire Blades for dual blades only work on these powers:
enhancing rain of steel, eye of the storm, sword cyclone and tempest
Perhaps you can add that to the main post? Like which powers are affected by the power replacers? Just a suggestion :)

I had a Gadroon Sniper Rifle (well, two actually)
One was a power replace item, that I think added Sonic damage to sniper rifle attacks, the other had slightly better stats, but didn't have the power replace ability. I accidently sold off the wrong one.
