enter button doesnt do anything on Chat/NPC/Combat Window

This is getting kinda annoying. Try to chat with people on friends list, use / commands or ask for help from other players so I type it all out and hit enter but it doesn't do anything. I know its not an issue with my keyboard because this is a new notebook and the enter key works on anything else.. even on the game its just that one window it doesn't work.

I'm having this exact same issue. Previously I was able to get chat functioning by switching to my second build (I have no idea why that worked). I've searched through all my keybindings and chat settings without any luck as to a remedy. If anyone knows a fix for this bug, I'd love to hear it, as the frustration on my part is only increasing.

I think the problem is that CO doesn't recognize the ENTER key on the numeric pad which is the one I usually use while chatting and fighting. More than once I've died because I hit enter but the game doesn't recognize and so all my movement commands end up in chat :(

I've tried both enter keys and nothing works. And yes its very annoying, so does anyone have an idea of what to do? all my key binds have been set to default.

I am having this problem too, but only on my new TOSHIBA Satellite P305. I have tried both enter keys with no luck.

Hopefully issues like this and the x64 version not having sound get resolved before my free subscription ends or I won't be renewing!
