What exactly is the difference? If I chose "Supernatural" can I *ONLY* chose those powers? If I go custom and chose only supernatural powers would I be less powerful then someone that chose just supernatural?

I 'believe' that if you pick sometihing out of your set that being able to use new skills takes longer. For example some skills in a particular set requires 3 from that set or 5 from an alternate.

If you go with a set framework can you still choose a skill outside of it? Also, how do you switch your role? IE, Guardian, Sentinel, etc

Yes you can pick powers from another set when ever you want. And to change your role there is a button near your power tray set up that you push to get your builds. I think you can also hit the B button(not sure on that one)
The thing that makes picking from a set framework is that it gives you the stats to begin that makes that framework strong. If you do custom than your stats would be different.
If you pick powers from the same framework you get the higher tier powers quicker than if you mix and match

Hey Ultimus, this is Krya from the Dom boards! :)
Basically if you were to build the 'custom' exactly like a set framework, there would be no difference at all. Frameworks only affect access to tiers.
Powers unlock in Tiers depending on your powers, not your framework, so if you had the end builder and 2 other powers from Telepathy, you could access the Tier 2 Telepathic powers regardless of your framework setting at creation But to access the Tier 2s in another set you would need 5 powers of any framework NOT counting your end builder or travel powers.
Tier 0: open to all.
Tier 1: 1 power in the same framework OR ANY 3 non-travel, non-end builders.
Tier 2: 3 in frame OR any 5 non-travel/ non-end builder.
Tier 3: 5 in frame OR any 8 non-travel/ non-end builder.
You switch roles in the build tabs once you open your second build.

When I Picked a Preset Framework in Beta,(sorcery) and got the insta 40, I had a few "Sorcery" options aka Radiant Sorcery and something else, but nothign extra for other frameworks... what was that about?
