Does the invasion happen inside the desert or Canada crisis zones? I was in the desert a few minutes last night, but didn't see anything. I haven't seen any threads stating one way or the other.

When the invasion waves hit, you will see in emote in your chat log that says something along the lines of "Swarmlords have spawned" etc etc. And the emote is zone wide, not just in project greenskin.

No, the invasions are not in the crisis zones or tutorial, you need to have finished them and be in the 'main game' before you see them.

In the desert outside the wall of Project Greenskin but inside the cliff barrier. In that area between the fort gate and the cliff gate.

In Canada around the entrance to Steelhead.

Millennium City - Haven't seen one there yet I only just got there and now have to run off for part of the day.

In MC the invasions occur at the fountain west of Ren Center and near Champions HQ. You can identify the locations because they are surrounded by AA guns. How kind of the qularr to attack the best defended areas of the city. :D
