If you have (just for example) 50 stats on everything, and lets say your superstat adds 50 to whatever stat, would super stat strength be more damage than super stat presence if you are using the might set??? I understand super stats decide your damage BUT the super stat strength in game says --- "... and melee damage" so, either its out dated from a change or it does in fact add melee damage. I tested the difference of the two stats, and having the two stats equal with the super stat buff I don't see any noticeable increase in damage with strength instead of presence. I hope this makes sense hahaha. Can someone shed some light on this for me?

I think the in game description is outdated. I read where someone tested it, and strength made no difference at all to melee damage if it wasn't a super stat.
ETA: I wonder if it's referring to the damage you do with objects that you pick up? Maybe strength affects that damage. Still, it shouldn't be called melee damage.

Can you link me that thread by chance? If not that's ok. I appreciate the quick reply. :D
EDIT: ahh that could be, i will test that now.

Strength does add a bit to melee damage, but the difference is nearly negligible. It's just a means to help melee attacks make up for their lack of range.

The entire old board is archived. I don't even remember how long it's been since I read it. I spend too much time on the boards and my memory is awful. Sorry.

How much of a difference do you think it makes? I did test it meleeing with an object and it made a HUGE dfiference, at least with the object.

I didn't completely understand so 'll just guess. ^^; If you mean like the super stat how it says +12 at one lvl then like + 24 at the next, they will even out (meaning it doesn't matter which you pick first they give the same amount.)
If you mean does it add damage to your attack, it does. I know that INT increases damage for attacks like fire, ice, etc., I tested it with my fire attack doing about 30 dmg with firestrike then after getting a +20 Super INT I would do 50s.. So no reason it won't have the same effect with Strength.
And if I totally miss the question don't mind my post. :x

The reason INT increased your damage was because you picked it as a super stat. It would have worked the same for whatever you picked. Also, it would have worked the same for any type of damage you were doing.
