Problem: Costume Creator Capabilities
The costume creator is a major selling feature of the CO game. And I don't believe its giving the best impression it could.
For a system built for “Customization” it likes to keep a bunch of its potential hidden behind Quartermasters/Stores and Mob corpses.
Concepts / Desire / Hard Work can be born with just a glimpse of a costume item.
Suggestion
All Unlocks(In Game+MTs) can be selectable for preview within the Costume Creator.
For each unlock details are provided on how to obtain it.
Unlocks are always at the bottom of the drop down, sorted alphabetically
Locked Item
For my example these are colored Red.
Can be worn within the costume editor
Cannot be saved and used in the game world
Unlocked Item
For my example these are colored Blue.
Can be worn within the costume editor
Can be saved and used in the game world

What is in it for Cryptic?
-Better costume item exposure to its players, potentially leading to more sales of items in the Cryptic Store and more paid play time from its players.
-Mario Style (1 UP) the competition
-Secret Handshake

I personally feel costume items should be something that is dangled in front of the player, not hidden in the sand.
Names mean nothing, visuals are everything.
But I also have to ask..
Would costume item transparency be harmful to the Champions Online product?
Is it better that these items are only cataloged in a wiki / forum and not in game?
