I got both the assault rifle(which put an option in the tailor as Alien weapon 2 or something like that) and the mini gun,but even after equiping the minigun it doesn't unlock anything in the tailor, working as intended?

Also can you only choose your power replacer in the tailor if you have a munitions power?
And it seems like you can't choose them at character creation?-(the power replacers)

I believe the costume unlocks are only for the character they were unlocked on, I could be wrong, but that's how I was lead to believe it works.

Problem is the mini gun doesn't seem to actualy be a power replacer,it doesn't unlock anything for the character that got it,and i'm prety sure that you unlock it for your whole account.

Yes i'm talking about the event items, having drop exclusive items that unlock for just 1 character wouldn't make much sense.

Ive got it slotted in Primary Offense, and no effect.

Do I need to "equip" it as a costume piece to make it work?

Not all Power Replacers unlock new costume parts. You want to look for the words Unlocks Costume Part at the top. If it doesn't say it, it doesn't do it. I've found that many of the Bow and Claw Power Replacements are like this. There are also several Rifle Power Replacers that are the same way.

Also, may of the enhancers that look like Power Replacers are actually devices. Make sure to read the text for the item so that you know whether it is one or the other.

Same goes for the flamethrower. Doesn't unlock anything and need to stay equipped to get the graphics for it.

I'd really like to be able to choose the qularr minigun as a costume piece and recolor it into something more nifty looking.
