My character will primarily using force. With other abilities in might and TK. I am mostly thinking of going End as a superstat so I can fully charge Force Cascade. In OB, using Force Cascade wasn't exactly viable with the lvl bump unless I poured time into gearing him up so I could actually fully charge it. The most I got my energy bars number to was like 215 I think. Fully charged it costs like 300 or something energy. I also hear that End ups the protection for PFF so that seems like a nice way to go. However, what would you guys think for the 2nd superstat.
ATM, I am debating between Dex and Ego for the extra crit chance or crit damage. I just can't decided. I also played with the idea of Str for the char concept. The character is basically a mix between superman and green lantern. Strong, tough, manipulates energy blah blah.
What do you guys think would be a good 2nd SS. Primary attacks are the main force blast (forget name, not the energy builder), TK blade frenzy (TK energy builder advantaged to proc id blades), Force Cascade when I have a full bar of End lying around. Some secondary attacks I use are, Roomsweeper (might, advantaged for stun I think it is), Shockwave for AE goodness.
Character will be pvping regularly, just fyi.

Super-Ego will help you with PFF, but it will (usually) interfere with building up your endurance as they both appear regularly on utility gear. Superdex won't do much, most likely, without at least some form of Ego statted. Super-Strength might work for your improving your melee attacks and knockback, but won't help with blade frenzy (from what I hear)
Super-Int (something you haven't mentioned) Might be good to reduce the cost of force cascade. I'd also recommend using Field Surge, which counts as an energy form and gives your PFF even MORE utility. Super-Int would lower the cooldown on Field-Surge as well.

Yeah, actually I do have field surge in the plan. And hmm Int might be a good way to go. You said Ego helps with PFF? How so? I thought I read End was the stat that added to its protection?
About Int, anyone have any examples of how well it works at lower costs/recharge?

I think I remember int having 0.25 (25%) cost reduction at level 40 at about 100 int...not sure about the recharge, not in the headstart T_T
As far as Ego helping PFF, I'm pretty sure it helped with the PFF recharge speed, meaning it lasts (a bit) longer in a long fight.

You MUST be in an Energy Form in order to fully charge Force Cascade.
If you are not in an energy form the power will NOT charge regardless of how much energy you have.

Last time I tried (open beta) Force Cascade was just made cheaper by an energy form, you could still charge without it...
Sure you aren't confused with GigaBolt?

Yeah same here. When I had 215 or so energy the power would charge to about 2/3s or so. When I popped field surge I could fully charge it.

Right, but if it costs 300 energy, you have 215, and the energy form reduces energy costs, then that would be why you were able to fully charge it.
Anyway, my suggestion? Con. Dex is useless without ego, Ego is fairly lackluster without Dex, and from the testing people were doing at the end of beta with Ego and PFF, it sounds like it only increases your shield regen by 150-300/3 seconds, which isn't a huge boost. Additionally, you can always use more HP. Of the options, Con would be my choice, especially if you plan to PvP.

Right, but 100 Int at 40 is pretty low, and bonuses scale with your level. Having such low Int at lvl 40 would give you a pretty terrible boost. Now, to be fair, from what I've read, even at higher levels Int doesn't grant a huge boost.

Curious if anyone noticed their crit severity percentage in OB when they didnt spec for Ego?
