Ask Warhammer Online or WoW.
Problems with Pet AI aren't new. From the looks of things, it's never entirely fixed, so I wouldn't expect CO to have it solved straight away.

I think you need to pick another title since some folks may find that offensive.

Today i was getting killed and my pets went off and healed someone else when i was at 10% HP.

Might I suggest getting in touch with a good therapist.
He or she should be able to help your pets find out what the root cause of their issues are and how to overcome them. :D
