Xbox 360 Controller how to access map

Is there anyway to access the map using the xbox 360 controller? Thats the last command I cant figure out . Any way to do it?

In the default config there isn't, but you can change the key binding to make it so.

eg: /bind Select Map (makes the select button on controller open map)

Uhhh.....the "back" button?

Unless it changed with a recent patch...I haven't tried it since the head start began.

I'll give it a shot in a bit to see if it still works.

Back button functioned as an exit from the optiond screen nor can you bind a key in the key binding options. Not a big deal but it does anchor you to the keyboard.

Yes you can bind your XBOX controller to do other things. Type /bind Select Map in the chat window. When you type map, a dropdown menu will appear and click on Map. The back button on your controller will now pull up the map.
