Sonic Device not stacking with Sonic Powers?

Is anyone else seeing this issue?


I tried using Sonic Device with my Sonic Blaster and I am getting no additional effect. Is anyone else seeing this with other sonic powers (ie: Sonic Arrow)?

Are you saying that sonic device doesn't activate when you use these powers? It should create an explosion-like effect. I haven't had any trouble getting it to work with sonic blaster.

I'd activate Sonic Device and then fire off Sonic Blaster (before the duration expired).


I got no additional Damage over what I was already doing.
I saw no explosion just the regular wave effect from the blaster.

There IS somethign goign on with Sonic Device.. I posted yesterday about it not working with Sonic Arrow.

It works with my Taser Arrow, does not work with my Sonic Arrow.

My sonic arrow has been advantaged for the AOE. Has anyone gotten Sonic Device to "proc" when using an AOE power with it? I'm thinking they nerfed Sonic Device to no longer proc on AOE powers (tested with and without the sonic device aoe advantage).

Yes, it still procs on AOE powers for me. I did notice that I had a harder time getting it to proc multiple times on one shot, however, like the range had been reduced or something.

I had some problems with sonic device too. I think it's just a little twitchy at the moment. Sometimes it doesn't do anything. I noticed in particular that if I clicked it inbetween the rapid use of other skills it wouldn't do anything.

Sonic device was working for me before making sonic blaster and aoe, sd and sb are both aoe now and still working. Works on chain lightning and mini-gun also.

One thing I notice that I can't remember was in beta or not, is that you can't preload sonic device. Need in combat for it to work.
