A Little Help

So, i'm not the best with skills in any MMO :P I've always needed friends' help in other MMO's with skills etc. And Champs is no different.

I've created a 'Demonic' character and chosen the Darkness power set since it seems the most appropiate, however i'm not level 9 and getting can't even defeat one level 7 :( I'm in Canada and honestly my character must be made of glass or something...

I use block alot, so i'm not trying to run in there and be Rambo or anything, but when i'm level 9 and getting killed by a sole level 7 something must be wrong. I'm going to re-roll I think (Since respec costs too damn much atm >.<) and this time I want to get it right.

So, what i'm looking for is a Demonic character who's focused more on survival than DPS, I mean of course I want to deal damage, but my playstyle means my hitpoints are more important than how much damage I can deal, having said that I still want to be able to deal out enough damage so's I can solo comfortably.

For the TL;DR - I'm looking for a balance between DPS and a nice amount of health, preferably using power sets that fit a demonic character theme such as Darkness, Force etc.

Regeneration is a Supernatural skill, with that in your passive slot you'll have no worries at all for a good long while. You should be able to take it at level 8 because it's only Tier 1. (if you can't back up you'll have to get to 11) I haven't tried Shadow Embrace, but it's Supernatural equivalent Acid Breath was instrumental in letting me fight off on level groups, if you sell the quest reward you get for the tutorial you should be able to respec out of your initial power and into that at level 5, and take another useful power instead of being stuck with Shadow Blast.

If you need still more I found Resurgence, Energy Shield and a combination of Empathic Healing and Ego Sleep or Ego Hold to be extremely effective.
