Energy Form Looks...

I'm nitpicking here, but do energy forms annoy anyone else? Specifically Electric and Fire energy forms, I haven't seen the others. But when I have electric form on my character, it completely ruins his costume. It only happens in combat, but sitll, I think we should get some say in how it looks, or at least be able to turn it off.

Maybe make it like the Electric aura from City of * ? At least give us a few options, the current state almost completely makes our costumes invisible while in combat.

Oh and work on better respec system, yada yada, you know the rest. :)

ego form can get pretty bad too, but it does look cool, just not if you want to actually see what you look like lol

I do like electric form when you first get it.. the electricity layers over your character, but you can still recognize your character, their clothes, and their features. But when you power it up to level 3 and you're just a blur of bright white squiggles, not only does it obscure all the hard work you put into your character design, but it's also pretty hard on the eyes trying to see around the huge bright spot in the middle of the screen in order to fight, target your enemies, interact with objects, etc.

Shadow Form is very cool looking, but yeah, the energy forms in general significantly alter your character's appearance when active, which may not be what you want.

The defensive passives tend to be much more subtle. Defiance and PFF only animate in reaction to hits, and Regeneration doesn't have any visual effect at all that I've seen (it does have an audible one that can grate on your nerves after awhile :p).

The Aura support passives in Sorcery are probably my favorite. Very appropriate to the powerset thematically.

Not to be too argumentative, but don't energy forms in comics TOTALLY change the look of the hero?

Energy forms are supposed to be very significant, so the magnitude of the change in appearance should match.

I like the look of Elec form rank 3, but would prefer it to have less white lines on it as they are unecessary and dont look a thing like electricity, the sparks emanating from you however do.

I REALLY hate the Ego Form one, it looks like you're covered with Ghost Busters 2 slime. The Electricity one kind of bothers me because ti greatly obscures the character. I'd prefer if Rank 3 looked like rank 1, and Rank 1 was just little subtle sparks that pop across your charatcer a bit. At least make this an optional 0-point advantage thing.

Regen has a green looking, accending circular thingy going up your character from what ive seen when used :).

I dont mind them, I like the ice one and fire one and the darkness one and a few other too.

I'm not a fan of the look of energy forms.

What would be 'ideal' for me, is to have seperate slider to control the alpha of the look. EG, set it low and its invisible, high and its as it appears in-game now. Or in the middle and have the energy over the top of your normal costume.

I play with the force power set. My "energy form" is a bubble around me. I envy you all your ACTUAL energy forms.
