So, I am reading over the posts on the forums and I have to honestly say that it is rather depressing to see so many people saying "I am cancelling pre-order, they nerfed this, bla bla bla."
I have a suggestion....stop whining? When I played beta only for the last week, I was instantly sold on Champions Online. It is, in fact, the first game I have ever felt worth pre-ordering in my entire life. This game is so amazing because of its unique feel. Not only that, but the game is the first MMORPG since Asherons Call that has actually made me feel a sense of accomplishment when I do something. It is also the first MMORPG that DOESN'T feel like a grind to me because I get the feeling I am actually helping a real populace.
Plus, the character customization is unreal! An MMORPG with no classes?! Blasphemy! I say bring it on, the more customization the better. I could go into a plethora of other reasons why this game is the best MMOG I have ever played, but I have decided to cut it short becuase no one likes reading a wall of text.
To you naysayers who say that the XP is nerfed, or the game is a grind, just quit and spare us your irrelevant whining. No one cares about your problems. Oh, and by the way, I know it may be a strange concept to work for something in and MMO: the lack of understanding this concept is commonly referred to as WoW's Mind Dilution Syndrome.
Kudos to Cryptic for reviving the MMORPG genre in my heart!
