Reaper's Caress Advantage not working? (Single Blade)

Does anyone else have the problem of Viscous vigor not working? It is supposed to make Reaper's Caress a Cone attack but it doesn't do that... I sent a ticket and all i got was the generic "we cannot help you with tips on power" or am I missing something.

It got tweaked in the last week before launch and not in a good way. I think the cone was narrowed slightly. It can still be used as a cone but you have to line it up perfectly now. :p

no, it has no efect
i tested it today
under no circumstances does it do damage to more than one minion

i worry its because i specced the supernatural energy builder, btu i ont think its that, i think the ability is bugged

Just here to confirm it does *not* work at this time. Really a bummer, too, as it severly limits our damage output.

I agree, it does not work. I only took single blade so that I could get a hammer at some time in the future and now with the respec costs through the roof, I'm stuck with it. I'm sure they'll fix it before too long.

This is a bug that has been in for at least a week now of beta patches and its rather infuriating... im very fond of the dev team but this is beyond irritating.,.....

its the point of game breaking for single blade as we cant AoE like every other class in game!

If I remember right...
If you do the third attack while jumping, it would turn into a cone...
The Bleed status effect would always be a cone too!

Those 2 didnt need the cone advantage to work but theyre broken now as well >.< along with the advantage itself lol.. Hope they fix it soon! Its a pain using Scything Blade on every single enemy for aoe :/

I am 2 for 2.
My second advantage points were put into instep crush for inexorable tides.
It does not root my foes.
Never, not at all.

What a dissapointment that
a) both advantages I bought do not work
b) i cannot respec, at my level i have 5 gold and the respec costs would be about 40 for those two advnategs

I have the same problem. Also why does it state that it is a close area attack when it initially isn't. That is kind of frustrating.

It has worked in the past and was recently broken. Keep bug reporting it in game. I have done extensive testing with it as well and the cone effect does not work. I have not tested any work arounds like the jumping mentioned by a previous poster.
