I have been trying to use my XBox controller all day and it will not work. Yes I did download the drives, but when I plug it it it does nothing. Has this happened to anyone else, and if how do I fix it?

Is this the wireless 360 controller or the wired PC version? If its the wireless XBox version you will need the PC adapter. The USB connector on that controller is only for charging and doesn't actually communicate with the PC.

No problem.
Basically what you need is the 360 Wireless Receiver (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows-Pc/dp/B000HZFCT2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1251590488&sr=8-3) . They are a bit overpriced at $40 but it does work really well.

It's overpriced because Microsoft has discontinued it. That's why I bought mine when it was still $20.

so you can use a wired or wireless 360 controller for this? Do you guys like it? I am having a hard time getting back into MMO keyboard controls. My wife isn't liking them at all, but really wants to play. I would like your all's input. Thanks a lot!

To be honest, you're practically as well buying a wired controller and dedicating it to your PC. Plus, it leaves you with another 360 pad if friends come over.

I'm not a huge fan of the PC interface with a 360 controller, but the game does play surprsingly well that way.

I'd advise you to set the controls to 'Action' and 'Like Other-Superhero-Games' or whatever the second option is, then set auto-attack to 'None'. I find playing the game with the 360 controller feels great with the controls set up like that, of course that's just my personal preference :) Have a play around with the controls until you find something you're comfortable with.

That is really great news. I am going to pick up a wired cotroller now so my wife can play too. I can't have all the fun :D Thanks for the suggestion on setup. We will try it that way. She won't know any different, so maybe it will work out perfectly for her.

The controller works great! I think my wife will dig the setup. I will make a controls key for her, and I may even get into it after messing around with it some. Thanks again!

EDIT: Sorry bout the double post!
