I have played another game for five years now. I have peace of advice. You guys have pretty much hit it out of the park! There are a group of people that think f their characters are not overpowered, or if the do not own everyone that the game is flawed.
Endless tinkering, balancing, to appease the unappeased is not good for any game. In the realm of superheros it is not necessary. Weaknesses are built in and should be expected.
Superman is not only weak to anything with Kryptonite, but to telepathy and magic as well. Professor X, if he is fighting someone with psionic immunity is a sitting, pun intended, duck.
Don't let the whiners tell you that some power, or power set needs buffing, or debuffing, unless nobody can beat them, or they can beat absolutely nobody. Other than that, learning to cope with a weakness is part of being a superhero.
