Anyone that can tell me how power armor slots work?
you have some powers that uses hand slots, some chest and others eyes or shoulders.
Can you use two hand powers or just one?
And can anyone tell me how the "Automated Assault" for Wrist Bolter works?
Thanks :o

All specific slots share a cooldown basically, with the upside that those slots that do not share a cooldown can be activated at the same time. A hand-slot counts as one slot.
You can (with enough endurance) have eyebeam/concussor beam/micro munitions on at the same time, but not for instance, toggle Concussor beam, and then fire your power gauntlet.
I'm not exactly sure how wristbolter works exactly, I generally took force-bolts instead.

I hear the word "toggle" in the descriptions alot, meaning you press once to start it and once to stop it? but so far all my powers need to be charged by holding down the key...

Ok heres what you do. Get rid of power gauntlet its no good and when you advantage wrist bolter to your Hand Slot its useless.
You have 3 slots to toggle on and off depending on energy.
Hand, Chest and Shoulder. Wrist bolter will always be on but doesnt gain energy if other slots are active. So basically, activate Shoulder/Chest/Hand until energy is gone... Keep Hand (wrist bolter) going til full, repeat.
There was a build that I was running with Killer Instinct to return energy. Quarry may work havent tested or even looked into it far for energy management. Targeting computer is good (a must) but I ran around with regeneration for leveling.

nevertheless there ARE several toggles. Eyebeams is the first you'll get, most likely. Concussor Beam is another one, and micromunitions finishes the set. Wrist Bolter can be TURNED into a toggle, but whether it's worth it is another story.
I think there are also some toggles in other power sets, but I haven't seen them personally.
Basically, Toggles are 'maintains' that you don't have to maintain as such...they'll keep firing automatically untill they reach their maximum time, or something (or someone) disables them.

Power Gauntlet can be modded for the "crippling challenge" advantage, which (supposedly) breaks shields in pvp, and is very good for tanking. It also has a 1/4 interrupt effect, perfect for tapping.

I tried the Toggle effect on the Wristbolter but i could'nt get it to toogle at all, was no change and was still a charged/hold down, attack...

So far i have'nt been able to toggle Concussor Beam at all, it seems i have to hold charge until it's run it's duration, as in depleted all my energy.

That's weird...then again, I'm not currently playing, what I know comes from beta. Are you sure you aren't getting your powers mixed up?
Also, Wrist bolter is an energy builder, it should not be a charge attack whether you have taken the proper advantage for it to toggle or not.
At early levels, most of your toggles will deplete your energy bar, that is why endurance is a recommended superstat for Power Armour.

Actually i was wrong about concussor beam not being toggle. i edited that but too late ;)
but the wrist bolter is defenitivly charge right now, it wont fire unless i hold the key down and i did not notice anything different when using the toggle ability on it.
Anyone had any experience with this?

It is possible you have your endurance builders set to maintain in options for some reason. Go into the control tab in options, at at the very bottom it should have an auto attack setting. This has always been set to "Toggle, change cancels" for me, but some of my defaults haven't been correct at times in beta (fullscreen I'm talking to you) so it may be your problem.
Wrist bolter should not need to be charged to work, you should be able to press the button then forget about it while it fires off whenever you are not using another ability. The advantage makes it so they will continue to fire while you are using other abilities (other then other hand slot powers), but you will not gain energy while they are going.

Check your control options as I remember there being a way to change your energy builder attack to either a toggle or hold down type. I think it is the last option on controls if memory serves. Anyway just check that out first. Good luck. :) Ahh, beaten to the punch once again. You guys are quick :D

Ok im pretty sure i know what was wrong now. I had my Wrist Bolter assigned to numberkey 3, it would'nt work other then charged until i moved it to number 1....
Now it works wonderfully with the toggle power. :p

iv tried alittle wrist bolter with the toggle advantage. it is nice that i can keep it on all the time. then shut off my other toggles to gain back some energy but right now im thinking it may be a waste of 2 advantage points.
i know the damagei s small but im loving the Eye Beam with 20/20 fission. way more cost effective then Mini Gun.
and should launcher is still imho not worth it.

Most power armor advantage points are a waste. This whole tree is very difficult compared to other builds.
