6 month sub = Early start?

So, I've seen a few posts here about ordering from D2D. Several posters claim that if you order the 6 month sub, that you will unlock Early Start even if you Preordered from D2D. Can anyone confirm if this is true? Sorry for the noobish question.

No. The subscription packages have NOTHING to do with early access, only preordering (and D2D doesn't qualify for early access in the US)

Well, people are getting in with an OB key (from anywhere) AND a subscription deal purchase. No official word yet, but it would seem that the two are all you need to get into the headstart.

If you're hesitant about buying a subscription only to get into the headstart, than I suggest waiting for Cryptic to confirm that you get into the headstart by buying a subscription deal.

But if you were already planning on buying a sub deal then go for it. Not much to lose if you were going to buy it anyway.

I think it's an oversight or a bug of some kind with their system. I ordered through D2D and somehow managed to get on.
I do have a 6 month sub offer on my account, but I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Could not get in game - didn't expect I could, but tried several times anyway after reading a few of the older threads stating some D2D customers were getting in.
