View Full Version : Devs I have faith in you so dont let me down.

Dear Devs I have been playing this game since early closed beta, I have struggled lately on whether or not to pick a Range End Builder, or a Melee End Builder, as we all know the Ranged End Builders are far better in every single aspect than Melee End Builders. I have tried out both extensively, and I still like the Melee End Builder because its more my style, but it is hard to choose something I know is completely inferior. Not only do Ranged End Builders have an easier time building end, but they also have a built in auto follow, and all the ranged end builders get some kind of nifty side effect like chance for root, or chance for knockback and none of the Melee End Buiilders get anything cool like that.


But you the Devs have stated in several posts that you are aware of the imbalance bettween the two styles of end builder so I have decided to go ahead and take the inferior Melee End Builder, and have faith that you are still fixing this issue. If its not too much of a problem I would love a comment on this issue because if you feel that the problem is fixed and are no longer working on it, I would like to know before I level too high and its too late to change the power, and I am sure many others would like that info for the same reason so please please let me know on this. :)

the dual blades end builder is a natural cone, that counts as something cool :)

If you dont have to buy an advantage for it yes that would count, I had forgoten about that but still there is a serious lack of nifty side effects for the melee end builders.

this is worth a bump, especially given the cementing nature of powersets (limitied respecs).

I would like to add that in all fairness, some steps have already been taken, ex: melee now taunts mobs from a distance. It's not much, but I think this should (at the very least) show that they aren't merely paying lip service to valid concerns.
