So at lvl 1 my recovery is pretty much my full power bar.
Then at lvl 2 the max power i can regen is reduced by i would say somewhere around 20%, then at lvl 3 with adding NO recovery items my Max Power i can regen is again almost my full power bar.

I am missing some kind of mechanic here that I am just not getting.

Did you take recovery as a super stat? If so you get increased recovery stats automatically as you level. Perhaps that's why you're seeing swings with your equilibrium?

Hmm, should not be so. Your "equilibrum point" - two orange triangles marking the point on the energy bar - should only go up with Recovery stat and nothing else.

Later in the game, it is possible to receive an out-of-combat buff (by picking up a crate of Mysticism-related crafting materials) that makes you recover energy faster than it decays, resulting in 100% energy out of combat, but there are no such items in the tutorial.

Something is wrong here.

P. S. You pick up a Superstat at lvl 5, not at lvl 3.

Pssst! You can level up without going to the Powerhouse by pressing "M"!

Just don't tell anyone I told you, because the FBI is watching and the government doesn't want us to know the truth.

Your max out-of-combat power is not the max power your can regen. Your max out of combat power is limited by the little yellow bars, and they're affected by your recovery stat. When in combat and using energy building attacks, you should be able to hit max energy whenever you want.

I am assuming that your equilibrium goes down as you level if you do not spec recovery (or get +REC items) because there's an 'ideal' value for recovery at each level and that ideal value goes up as you level. Thus if you don't keep your recovery in line with what your level wants it to be, your equilibrium will drop. Depending on the type of hero you are, this may or may not be an issue.

I understand this, hence my problem, With out adding any items or changing my stats, my Equlibrem went from max, down about 20% at lvl 2, then back up to almost max at lvl 3

Okay, time to backpedal.

Try checking out the crime computer, this is where the option is. The hotkey may be "K" - I cannot verify that because I ordered my game from Direct2Drive.

Recovery changes your equilibrium amount. Your energy pool is increasing but your equilibrium is not.

As an example, if your equilibrium at lvl 2 is 30 energy and and your total power pool in 40 energy, your equilibrium bar is at 75%. If you then equip an item with Endurance and your energy pool goes up to 60 but your Recovery stayed the same, then your equilibrium is still at 30 and now appears to be 50% of your energy bar. I believe your energy also increases when you lvl up, up to some maximum value. Hope that made sense.

I believe your endurance and health goes up at levels 2 and 3 (regardless of your stats). That means that your equilibrium drops since you got more endurance but not more recovery. Essentially, you have a higher than normal equilibrium for the first few levels because your endurance is lower than normal.

With no bonuses to either endurance or recovery from gear, talents, or super stats you should have your equilibrium at 50% endurance, but at level 1 you have equilibrium at 100% endurance, then if falls to 50% over the first few levels.

He knows this.

HIS Equilibrum went back up when he leveled from 2 to 3.

That's what makes us wonder.
