Can someone please tell me what is going on with Gadget pets, like the muni bots and drones?
They have all become almost useless. Drones just fly off and do what ever they feel like now, they do not follow you anymore. Muni bots start shooting mobs and if they hit any environmental objects they will NOT pull off of that item until it is dead. If you transform the muni bots to turrets and then back, only one of them comes to you. You have to re-summon them every damn minute.
Very frustrating.

They were pretty awful in Open Beta, similar to what you are describing. I hope they didn't get any worse o_O

Lets put it this way, I died 3 times because the drones are off healing someone else (not me while dying to fights) . I am so ****ed at this power set right now I am changing. :mad:

Yes, please, something needs to be done. I absolutely love this game and I’m almost willing to bend over backwards for my character to be a gadgeteer, but now that the bots do not teleport with me and instead stand around shooting at chairs, and the drones take off healing some random person I don’t know, the neatest powers in this set are useless to me. It was actually better in open beta, at least then they’d teleport along with me.
I’m not a whiner and this is such an awesome game, but the whole power set is almost useless at the moment.

Really, if they can't figure out how to do flying pet AI then for the love of grond, just make healbots ground based. The ground based pets, while still dumb as a stump, still manage to follow me with more success than those idiot random spraycan bots do.
Half the time they're busy healing the guy who was trying to steal my quest item and got in over his head. Stop that, healbot!

They have made them so they dont teleport to you anymore. If you go too far they disapear totally useless hope this isnt intentional!

I'm a Gadgeteer as well and have been having the same pet problems. In order of how frustrating each is:
Heal drones go off and heal other people a vast majority of the time I'm playing. They should NEVER heal random people outside of my team or, at the very least, they should only heal others while I'm out of combat, and should stick along with me if I'm on the move.
Munitions bots don't come with you most of the time, you have to resummon them. Having a Travel power is one of the coolest parts about the game, but the screwy pet AI makes it very frustrating.
You can't dismiss one set of pets separate from the other--if one of your munitions bots disappears on you, you have to dismiss all pets and resummon them (preferably, I could just resummon missing bots if one of them dies, rather than having to dismiss and resummon).
The munitions bots sit around shooting inanimate objects all the friggin' time. You have to make them Passive so they'll stop, or they'll just hang out doing this all day.
You can't bind pet commands anywhere that I've seen in the Options. I hate clicking stuff in the interface, but I'm forced to because pets behave badly.

I posted this in the other section, but the bots have gotten alot weaker. The munition bots die very easily now from low level, low ammount of people mobs. Infact i was just in a fight and 1 mob 1 hit k-o'd my bots.
