Now, I know I'm going to touch upon a few things that have already been talked about and responded to, however this is an overall vent and thus I do apologize about any redundancy. Additionally, let me mention that I'm enjoying the game and went ahead with the lifetime plunge so I want this game to work out.
To begin with, I'm not terribly pleased with how the pre-order items are being handled. They really needed to be handled where either they were all available at headstart/launch with pre-order key or all granted with retail codes. Doing it various ways and then going, "Oh it's not our fault it's like this," is childish. Personally, I'd love to know what these, "deals made with retailers which were far beyond our control," were and how/why it ended up that way.
Second, the event seems to be glitched. Perks seem to be able to be obtained from the event but the action figures aren't working. I can't say anything about Dr. Silverback since I've yet to obtain that yet but the Bug Hunter does nothing. Says it's unlocked and no new action figure is available. At that, I now have a BoE item in my inventory that claims to be the action figure but it does nothing either.
Third, the first tailor visit needs to be free period. Considering that pre-order/subscription costume pieces aren't earned until you enter the tutorial with a character should make this a no-brainer but the fact that weapons still aren't viewable when creating a character, much less the tailor, this shouldn't have needed to be brought up. Additionally, changing weapon skins/colors needs to be free until pieces can be viewed in the tailor.
In a similar vein, the first powerhouse visit needs to go back to a free respec. In a game about customization, you're forcing power selection on your players and many of us were very happy about going into the Powerhouse and respeccing out of the basic tier 1 power and choosing another(I prefer Concussor Beam over Power Gauntlets for example). Imagine my surprise when I went into the PH and found that it'd cost me more than I even had earned to do this. This is absurd. Even more so when it's been suggested that a player keep his/her innate talent respecced in order to obtain the older ones when they make it back ingame.
Complaints aside, fantastic job on the servers at headstart launch. At least on my end, had no hiccups whatsoever. Additionally, I do give credit for the good PR work you guys did with the subscription offers, even though I still believe the complaints that were made about the limitations were ignorant, good job there.
Finally, can I get a set of tech wings in a similar vein as these (http://www.artificeclothing.com/em/shop/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=177)sometime soon? Pleeeeeeeeease?
