Too late for early start?

Hi! Been playing the beta for about a week and loved it, so I thought I would pre-order when I got paid (today). Going for Amazon.co.uk, as it states on this site that I would get into the early-access with a pre-order, I ordered it and sat back for a bit for the e-mail with my code...

Needless to say, Im still waiting. On closer inspection, it seems that MONDAY was the cut off for the early start codes with pre-orders. Are you kidding? I only got into the beta on Monday!

So now Im twenty quid out of pocket for a game I cant play for a week (had it not been for the early access I wouldnt have pre-ordered it at all), and to be perfectly honest, slightly miffed.

Is there anything I can do, bar get a refund? Really want into this game... :(

amazon.co.uk doesn't charge for preorder? You'll only have to pay once the game is released and to be delivered to you? So you should be able to just cancel your order.

Thats not the point. If you cant get into the early start without preordering before a specified date, why did it claim I would.

I mean, there is a week to go before its released, why cant everyone who pre-orders get involved?

I dont want to cancel the pre-order, I just dont understand why I cant get into the early access.
