The site says the server is up but when I attempt to log-in it says server status: down. I pre-ordered from Gamestop but it has been a hard time getting my key.

Suggestion to Cryptic is to have indicators on ALL servers, Game Server, Login and Account if they are seperate.

Whenever a server is down and a customer cannot access the game, there should be some indication so that the customer knows that the problem is/is not on his end.

Yeah, it is very confusing. In-game there is a red server status. On their site it is green...Ahhh! Hahah.

I have the same problem. I PREORDERED from GAMESTOP and it say it's down when I try to login.

This is jacked up. I am getting thrown around like a ping pong ball from Cryptic to GAMESTOP back and forth.

Gamestop: Goto Cryptic and open a ticket for help. The key should work.
Cryptic: Goto Gamestop and email them for help. The key should work, or they should get you a new key.

Both sides are telling me to go to the other side for help.

And no one will give help me with the fact my PREORDER key says it's already used- when it isn't.

I got it from GAMESTOP- and I'm sick and tired of the back-and-forth these two companies are doing!

I don't care if Champions is a great game. I will not stand for this poor excuse for customer support. I legitimately preordered from GAMESTOP- with the preorder key IN MY HAND. I am holding it RIGHT NOW.
Yet since it says it's invalid / already used- I can't do anything about it.

so is anyone playing right now.. ? i preorderd from gamestop, been in closed and open beta. applied preorder key last week.. ATM it says server down....... last few hours./.. so.. IS ANYONE PLAYING ATM? or is it just some of us having issues>?

Then what is the Login Server?

There is one 'Game' Server, but there are different stages to getting a player actually playing the game.

The Login Server is one of them. There should be a separate indicator for that.
The reason is that even if the Game server is up, if the LOGIN server is down the player still cannot enter the game.

Therefore to avoid confusion on his/her part, there should be an indicator that would inform the player that there is a problem on the part of the game company, rather than with his connection.

Some D2D has been able to get in tho, so I would suggest to give it a try.

Some Gamestop customers are NOT able to get in for some reason.
