I have a couple of issues here:

1. Are Fileplanet uses eligible for the early start?

2. If so, I am getting, "No shards found: You have a ticket with 1 permission pairs, but no shards were found"

What gives?

According to http://forums.champions-online.com/showthread.php?t=42697 only BestBuy and Gamestop preorders get in the head start.

I ordered from D2D and I'm getting the same message. No clue what it means!

By the way Cryptic: Early Access should be for all pre-orders regardless if its a box or digital download. You could make many people happy this weekend. ;)

Not to mention the that I am 99% sure that Fileplanet was advertising the early start. That was the whole reason I purchased it througgh them along with the preload.

Cryptic has a contract with Bestbuy and Gamestop, as well as some European sellers to allow them rights to headstart. By allowing everyone in they would most likely be breaking that contract.

I PreOrdered from GAMESTOP and the code is invaild/already used.

This is really ****ing me off, because GAMESTOP told me to goto Cryptic for help.

I open a ticket- and they tell me to goto GAMESTOP for help or a new key.

GAMESTOP tells me to goto Cryptic.

............I'm [ ] close to cancelling my preorder and quitting all together.

you people should read more, they've been advertising this for months, if you don't bother to check the promo offers it's your fault not cryptic's. I picked it up off of D2D when I realized my mistake I hunted down a $5 preorder code from gamestop, you should do the same they have them in store at gamestop and best buy.

Also, just because they (Cryptic) post a message saying one thing doesn't clear them when one of their distribution outlets sells something with a promise and then it get renigged on.

that's legitimately f'd up, you should demand your money back from gamestop, but don't blame cryptic, they probably have no way of verifying that you're telling the truth. If you bought it in store go to the manager (not the assistant manager, the top guy) and make a stink, you'll either get your money back or they'll get you another card.

This particular thread is for people who are having a similar issue and any feed back from Cryptic, not some random Richard who looks in the mirror, flexes and thinks to themselves, "I r forums god."

Well this is just a bad taste in my mouth and to leave preorders out of early access is just not good thing to do.
Im not happy with this and do not plan on playing the game after this if they do not find a way to make this right. D2d do not get early access unless you paid for lifetime or 6 months order. Something is just not right.

Did your key come with dashes? If so, remove all of the dashes and then enter the key.

If it came without dashes, try putting in dashes after every 5 characters. Some of the keys were screwed up like that for some reason.

No, this is GAMESTOP'S problem to fix as far as I'm considered. They have given you an invalid code and need to give you a new one.

I pre-ordered through D2D, got access to open beta from File Planet, and bought 6 month sub.

If I understand what you're saying, the reason I'm allowed into the game despite pre-order from D2D is because I got the 6 month sub?

If so, that explains why I can play the game but other D2D folks can't...

You should not have to be a super sleuth in order to play a video game. When I got the game from D2D there was NO MENTION that I could not play on the pre-order head start. People buy from digital companies JUST SO THEY CAN ENSURE THEY HAVE THE CLIENT IN ORDER TO PLAY. what the hell are you talking about? disingenuous? how long did it take you to drag that one out of the thesaurus? you know what the difference between me and everyone that's whining is? I made a stupid mistake, the same stupid mistake they did, but rather than whine and demand that cryptic violate their contracts to accommodate my impatience and lack of foresight I acknowledged my error and figured out how to correct it.

Making assumptions doesn't usually pay off, many people in this thread are sterling examples of expecting someone else to think for you, which is a great way of getting nowhere.

Really you guys gonna get upset over waiting 4 days, seriously theirs thing you can do which would make those 4 days go by quick. You don't see me moaning about waiting 4 days. I knew D2D didn't have head start.

There plenty of things to do, go out side hang out with friends, work play other games, etc. Its not like your gonna die if you don't get to play soon.

Either buy a lifetime/6 months or wait 4 days. Because screaming at cryptic or file planet isn't gonna make you play any faster other then raising your blood pressure too high.
