Lifetime Subscriber, looking for a SG

I'm planning on playing this game hardcore. I've played the pen and paper RPG version since it's inception back in the 80s and I love the genre', the world, the characters etc. It's just very rich.

That said, I'm not very familiar with how the online game will work. There will be servers I assume and I'm not sure which server my friends and I will be on so looking for a SG may be a bit premature at this point.

Anyone have any insight or advice? I've played many MMORPGs and I love being in a 'guild' style group.

You're certainly welcome to check out The Legion. We'd love to have you and your friends join us.

As for the servers, they're going with a GW-style plan. One server, which combines all players (US, EU, etc). Cities and maps will therefore have "shards" instead. So, no need to worry about picking a server!

theres only one server just seperated by zones.

Really? Where have you seen this posted? I was under the impression that there would be several servers with the seperate shards on each server.

Really? Where have you seen this posted? I was under the impression that there would be several servers with the seperate shards on each server.

Just check the general forums mate. there have been several threads dedicated to the topic. 1 server with separate shards to help with general lag.
