Hello everyone, good evening/morning.
So, it's 3:18 in the morning here, EST time, and as I was laying in bed I just got this idea and it was post it now, or forever hold my peace. So, this is what I was thinking...
Basically, CO, like many other things has a deep and rich lore and pseudo-history. Much like things in the comic book genre we have fictional places but acknowledge them as if they really existed, I.E. Gotham City, Paragon City, etc. I would assume this is no different with Millennium City and its other various fictional places.
That being said, my idea was sort of a homage/tip o' the hat to the CoH we knew back in its glory days. An SG that is, IC'ly, comprised of characters who once were heroes familiar with Paragon. OOCly this could be people making CoX characters here in CO, it could be people who are making characters in CO that they never made in CoH for one reason or another, or just people who once played CoX and are now with us in CO and are making new characters and they can just simply RP them as having had that character serve in Paragon. Unless I am unaware, as far as I know there is no rule within the CO lore that says Paragon isn't real... so by that right it should be ok to have heroes reminiscing about their old stomping ground.
So I guess the idea, or concept, is an SG that is specialized in the sense that the members, ICly anyway, are all heroes/heroines who once belonged to Paragon and are out and about, being a real hero and saving the world, not just their old city.
Ideas? Thoughts?
