One year ago i turned the music off, i cant even remember how the theme sounds ... if CO has one.
Next big Patch should be a Audio Overhaul ... its an important part of every game.

B..b..but how could you not like Snake Gulch?
Although an Audio Overhaul would be a great thing. They're using like what...5 voice actors? I think "TES4: Oblivion" had more than that.
Atleast get Sam A. Mowry back in there to voice some things.

The only reason I turn off the music is because I prefer my own soundtrack. I actually kind of enjoyed what I did hear of it, but really I'd rather be listening to whatever's mood appropriate for my characters.

In some games turning the music off is killing the whole atmosphere (skyrim, swtor ...)
In Champions Online there is no ... atmosphere. :(

To be honest, in most games I turn off the music... and I'm a musician and music lover. I just let it play for a while to see what was done, then stop it.
Repetition gets... repetitive, and also at any given time, one of our computers here is probably playing some music or other and I don't want a clash. :)
There have been very few games where I don't turn it off, and usually they are shortish (Portal comes to mind). Even in Diablo II I turned off music after a while, except when I was in the palace catacombs :)

Wow seriously? Champions is the only MMO I play with music on. Most other (all other?) MMOs I've played have slow-paced, boring music (except for the Troll music in WoW). Nothing exciting going on there. Ever.
Champs has a great soundtrack I think.

You forgot to mention that Champions online sort of links into your default Media Player (iTunes...Winamp etc.) so you can Fight or travel around to the sound of Gorrilaz, or JerryC's Canon Rock.

That's the thing, I rarely ever need to use that because I like the Champs music.

I giggle each and every time I do the Canadian Crisis. Rakshasa is hilarious!! Sounds like he is bringing breakfast to bed to Kigatillik!!
You have slept for too long... Kigatillik <3
Wake up!!! <3 Wakey wakey!!!

Oh, I definitely don't mess with any of the other audio. And I do like the Champs music, but I find it helps to set the mood for the characters better if the music I'm hearing is tailored to their style.
And yeah, between his voice and that Turtleneck and Chain he's rocking, Rakshasa is hard to take seriously. And then you remember all the damn worms everywhere.

That's funny, I really don't like the Champs music. it's always weird chirping or sinister sounding even when it's not appropriate. I think it could use an update.
And the music in Club Caprice is boring and dull.

I like some of the background music but not all... after a while anything gets old.

Yeah, I've turned everything down as far as ingame sounds go. Nothing like smashing heads to The Prodigy's "Invaders Must Die!" :)
