Millennium City Issue

Whenever I hop into Millennium City, whether through finishing the tutorial or skipping the tutorial, with any character whatsoever, the game just keeps respawning me at the respawn point every like, 5 mins or so, I can't talk to any NPC, can't travel altho I have the ability, can't talk on the chat whatsoever, and on top of all that, it takes around 10 mins to load Millennium City at the loading screen, its not server maintenance because I can see other players functioning properly and i know some friends who were playing normally, and besides, I've had this issue for 5 days now. For good connections, column 1 and 3 have values around 500 kb/sec (outgoing/incoming), column 2 has values around 20 kb/sec (transfer rate). If the values in these columns is less than what is expected you may have filtering or blocked ports either on your personal network or from your ISP.

also if using win 7 or vista besure champion online.exe and gameclient.exe are set to run as admin.

do a flush of your dns cache then try the tracert patchserver.crypticstudios.com

in command prompt enter ipconfig /flushdns

your nettest looks is low anytime you are below 250 in columns 1 and 3 and less than 14 in column 2 you likely will have lag and disconnect problems

also intel graphic are not the best card for the game. try setting the safe mode option in the launcher option to see how mil city goes . then adjust the graphic setting up until you get a balence of graphics and frame rate.

type /showfps 1 in game to see your frame rate. /netgraph 1 to see your latency and net connections

some programs can interfer in the game like teamviewer, xfire . to besure to do a clean reboot and try the tests and game with little extra programs running.

patchserver.crypticstudios just keeps loading endlessly and never shows up.
I'm not having any d/c in any MMO I play, I play about 9.
The intel graphics is only the dedicated, the shared one is 3GB Nvidia, I own an Alienware m14x.
I cant type showfps because i cant type anything in the chat box.
I don't have teamviewer or xfire or such programs.
PS. Sometimes it shows up on the left that its patching w/e.
Edit: tried the showfps, shows 0.00000

patchserver.crypticstudios.com is a server url and not something to load. I you refering to the tracert not working,

sound like you have some security seting blocking the tracert or the connection tothe patchserver url . firewall or antivirus blocking?
if the url is block then game connection is blocked

Sounds like the huge lag issues iv been having since last patch. I use the US proxy as a 'for now' solution, but even that is showing signs of fatigue ^^;

Where abouts are you connecting from?

Edit: Thanks for the idea, playing on the US proxy seemed to solve all the problems, works fine now, YAY =D
