I diagree. I'm sure for some characters (like yours) it is....but it drives me crazy, it drowns out everything. I turned down my FX just so I couldnt hear it. I just wish it was so loud or optional to turn it off.

I think it shoul be half of its sound.

i was in another game that had reindeer/snow flight. christmas music followed me everywhere, along with seligh bells, and snow flakes. using it in mid summer made everyone go all crazy......LOL.

please please PLEASE devs, REMOVE the annoying sound from rainbow flight ASAP. Either that or give me free a retcon to get rid of it. Loved rbf before, HATE it now.

While you're at it, remove the music from light speed as well. I'm very sure much more people will buy both tps if they aren't followed by lame music all the time.

I like lightspeed tune. If you dont like it, Instead of cutting it off completely, make it be an option for the player to choose.

there are 2 types of players that like rainbow flight. those that color it to look like trons line, and some like the silly rainbow effect. only the rainbow people like the music, lol.

I hate the Lightspeed tune on other players, which is what's stopped me from getting it for any of mine.

Haven't heard the new music on RBF yet but I fully expect to hate it too, just on principle. Music as a sound effect is pretty obnoxious. Either it's clashing with the music already in game, or you've turned off music for a reason (listening to other music or not wanting the repetition).

(And yes, if I had the opportunity to change or turn off the "ding" music for mission adding/completion and level-up, I'd do that too.)

Wait -- you can color rainbow flight now? I was under the impression you could only have a rainbow effect. If this has changed, then I will buy it. =)

I must say im with the people who wants the Sound removed. Its realy Annoying. Also the Lightningspeed sound ist nearly the same annoying. Pls remove or replace.

I fully support an option to toggle the music with all travel powers on/off.

This way, players who like the music get to keep it and players who find it annoying can mute it.

Everybody wins!

Ummm, ditto on the dislike. I liked Rainbow flight when it was first out and it fit my toon so well. Those were the days.

Then they added the sound fx music. It drives me crazy. Begging for it to be removed...

Heck, I'd be happy if they just played the sound when you first turned the power on, then had it fade off and STAY off until you actually turn the power off and then on again. I couldn't believe the ruckus when I was just moving a short distance, then moved a short distance...the starting and stopping of music.... worse than the continually playing music on long flights.

Personally I love the music to death, its the most epic thing ever to have my own background music as I'm flying around.

However I would like the ability to mod the sound effect to add some music of my own too it.

I... love... the rainbow music. My roommates hate it. I wish there was a way to turn it up. Not because they hate it but because I love it.

Cryptic, don't you dare remove the music. It's awesome. It's like a personal theme song and it even fits the character I have that has Rainbow Flight.

I have the Rainbow Flight power myself, the music isnt bad. I am not asking you to remove it. However a option to turn it on and off would be nice. :)

I have to admit, that I didn't even know how anoying the Rainbow Flight was until I actually turned on my speakers (I tend to keep it off so my wife is unawares as to how I spend my free time).

I can settle to either:

1) Have the sound play ONCE when it is activated, or

2) Have the ability to disable travel powers SFX within options so I will not hear mine or anyone else's travel power SFX through my speakers.

Hate the music with a passion i'd probably have bought them both (Rainbow and Light) but even some player running past me drives me crazy so owning them no hope for me..

All i think is another "Nyan Cat" Fanboi every time i hear rainbow flight.
