Unstable Mutant Gold Archtype

Just a random idea that came zooming through my head.

A character I would really like to play would be an unstable, still mutating mutant.

When you start the character, you'd gain a random energy builder and a random t1 power. Powers gained would be random, though favouring the next possible tier.
Every 3 or so hours of gametime, the character would mutate, changing to new random powers etc but given a retcon to change advancement points.

It would make for an interesting, challenging character to reach lvl 40 with.
(it could also be the way to unlock the super-awesome Draysha/Qliphothic Mutant powerset the devs aren't working on).

And no, just creating a character and going to the powerhouse every few hours and retconning at random wouldn't be the same :)
but the introduction of archtypes allows for strange ideas.

What happens if you retcon? All new powers?

So far, the only idea I have for AT would be a +1 in the power column at level 35 for gold AT's - something a little more to entice people like me to buy a gold over silver. I'm not that worried about some of the aesthetics of my look.

For a short time, I had a Sg called teh Misfits. We did everything randomly. Names, costumes, and powers. When we leveled, we would shout out 'Name a power' and we took it.

It was a blast, and a good thing was they were somewhat gimped so we had to team. What a sight we were together!

But when my pop died and I stepped away for a bit, it fell apart and we never got it back up and running.

Poor Plasma Warble!

She was just coming into her own when everyone disappeared too... ;)

Lets see, tunneling, munitions, two gun mojo, lazer gun, and electric storm. The randomizer made her into a yellow metalic alien wearing a green dress and a giant glowing ball on her back. She was a sight to see :)

Mine was like Knuckles Thunderstomach or something, and i remember having experimental laser, ice wall, and chainsaw. I think he had acrobatics or speed. i think. And one leg was robotic and I had bunny ears.

*sigh*

If anyone sees my brain, just kick it over my way please.
