The Options

I would like to have the options set to pre-launch like most patchers have... the options are a bit limited.

I can't change the screen resolution to be optimal on my laptop because I have 1440x900 and the game launches 1028x764 (trying to guess those numbers out of memory lol.. probably wrong but close enough).
The problem is, when I try to change the resolution, the game freezes and stops responding (and it never responds, I have to use the task manager to put an end to it).

I think it would be better to put visual options into the patcher (where it says options at the top) for people that may have problems like this.

Any thoughts? :x

It will not be a solution but it will help: instead of changing the resolution change the aspect ratio to 16:10, so at least you can see proportions as they should be until you find out how to change the resolution without a freeze.
