What if we dont want to keep our lifetime subscription with it going F2P can we get a refund on it?

I don't think they offer refunds on lifetime subs. Either way, why would you want to lose all the benefits of a free Gold Membership, instead of the heavily restricted free silver membership?

Well, no, because it's like asking for your monthly subscription back since now you can play for free..

There's a LOT of benefits being a lifetimer - you're still getting everything a paid customer would, practically for a no monthly cost.

What's the difference between now and say, 5 months ago? There's no difference, since Silver Members don't get anywhere near the benefits or customization a Gold Member would get.

No. You've been able to access the game for over a year, well past the break even point by the time this goes live.

Well, I dont like the community once a game goes free is why. Every F2P game I have played I feel like the community of the game takes a huge hit for the age limit. I have seen it to many times. I was a lifetime subscriber for LOTRO and once it went free the community just became terrible, so I was going to cancel and leave for good lol. Thats why I asked. Wasn't for the idea of stealing.

So? What part of that merits a refund on something you've already used?

These absurd posts about getting refunds need to stop.

It is just ignorant.

If you figure the price of the lifetime its about the price per a year. 14.99 * 12 months = 179.88 I subscribed at the early bird lifetime subscription which I dont remember the exact amount that time, which probably isn't as much as today. 299 for today subscription. Probably was close to 180 to 200 for starting lifetimers.

So, you not only used a non-refundable, no-time-limit product, but used it for so long that you earned back your investment, and you want a refund?

No where did it say non-refundable anywhere in the terms. I got my STO refunded, why not this?

If you read the ToS, it says it's nonrefundable once you add it to your account. I don't remember where, but we had to point this out to all the people like you in the months after release.

Again, I ask the question why did they refund it back for STO. Whats the difference for this?

Anyways, It dont matter. I'm not going to fight for it anymore then this. Really a pointless argument, a lot better things to argue about then a refund. I was just curious.

Because they decided to be nice and refund things in the month or so after people used them. They were under no obligation to, and you definitely shouldn't expect it. Of course, you want even MORE from them now, so... y'know. Entitlement culture!

The CO lifetime subscriptions were $200 (well, 199) USD... at $15 per month (200 / 12 = 13.33 months), taking in to account the game launched on 09/01/09 (not counting early start) the lifetime subscribers will break even on (about, with adding the first 30 free days lifers actually didn't and never will get) 11/10/10, well before F2P occurs...

You've already used up your lifetime dude, nothing to refund...

;)

If you wanted you might be able to sell your life time account for some of your money back, but good luck. Many WOW players have done this with accounts. But still you may be jumping a head of what may happen to the player community. Good luck with your view of CO's future.

And yes I understand you paid for a service, with the game having 1 year under its belt, which you where not paying for anything to play. The refund is a bit too much for them to give after all you got the service and just now have a problem with something. If you get anything back I think that it is not needed.
