Gold & Silver characters on one account?

Is it possible to have both gold and silver characters on a single account?
So if I need to unsub for a while I simply won't be able to select my golds but can fall back on my silver characters and keep playing without needing to create another account?

Hi Zerodivide,

Yes, in the current plan it is possible.

The key is that Gold Characters can only be accessed while the account is in Gold Status. Meaning, you'll have to be subscribed to access your Gold characters. If the subscription lapses, you'll only have access to your Silver characters.

There are plans to make it possible to convert Gold characters to Silver Characters, but the details are still being worked out.

The problem seems to be: if I become Gold again, will I have to afford a retcon to recover my initial custom build?

It would be nice to have a feature allowing us to save a power heap exactly like we can save a costume. Err, maybe better please, since it can be tedious to navigate between saves, even though it eventually works.

And since I'm on it, let's go ahead. I always wanted that each player could switch between a PvE power heap and a PvP power heap. I'm the kind of guy to afford very good gear for my beloved toon, and I don't feel like pushing an alt to 40 just to be better in PvP. PvP ranting would go lower if we could more easily adjust powers to counter agressive tactics from competitors.
