HI guys
I was thinking about spliting the telekinesis framework.

I work on two really differents way of considering it.

First of this new frameworks is Ego weaponry
This reflexion is based on current tK build with other ideas

Description:
Your mind can make weapon based on your psychic energy
when you hit something the objet blows and make damages (you could take a part of TK description)
you can create ego weapon of your choice : blade -stick -axes with evoluate like current TK ranks

Utility in game: DPS melee and tanking ( what a surprise:eek:)

SuperStats: Ego and Constitution
secondary stats: Dexterity - Endurance and Recovery

Energy Builder

Ego Slash : you create 1 ego weapon and fight your ennemies with.
Can stunt your ennemies or current effect with help you recovering energy starts form
2 pt advantage incisive wit like today
Animation : current dual blade energy builder



Melee powers

The four existing powers with their current advantages ( don't change anything)

Form

don't change anything to Ego Form but usable in brawler and defensive stances

Aoe Power

Egplosion(:) don't worry it is not a mistake): you focus your concentration on your Ego form till it explode ( like tk eruption or maelstrom) and stunt your ennemies but you lose your form during a little time ( like Force cascade)
range 10 feet
3 pts adv : gigantic ego tank : you still have remaining energy to rapidly create another better form than before ( defensive effect of TK eruption)

Block
TK shield (current power)

Ranged attack
Ego Lunge: you focus your energy to your feet to make you jump till your ennemies
2pt advantage : ego Impact : during your flying attack you focus you energy to your fists making a stunting explosion ( 10 feet)

Summoning
Description:
your ego is strong enough to create ego twins /replicants of you to fight on your side during a certain time

maintain: you create one double of you . If you complete the charge you create two double

Type of pet : dual ego blade melee fighter
cost : all your energie
they can go more than 10 feet away form you
appearance : looks like you in transperance (like summon nightmare)
each damage done or received ( don't know) make you gain energy
hp and damage are scaled on ego

rank 1: duration 30sec + damage scaled on ego
rank 2: duration 45 sec+ damage scaled on ego
rank 3: duration 1 min+ damage scaled on ego

adv : when disappear or die aoe that make damage or stunt the ennemies or both

OOOO time to play.

Please what do you think of it??

Yes please, make Telekinesis a ranged, force-like powerset and take out ego blades so you can get Ego Weaponry.

This sounds like sarcasm, but if not, I have to ask: if you take out the "Ego Blades" from Telekinesis... what would differentiate it from Force at all?

You are on to something with this suggestion. To me, it seems like Ego Blades were something that got combined with Telekinesis at some point in alpha/beta (I have no proof of this), since there is exactly NO synergy between Ego Blades (melee attacks) and the rest of Telekinesis (throwing all nearby enemies OUT of melee range). Ego Leech doesn't even make much sense as a mechanic, since there is no benefit from it unless it lingers for 10 seconds, and if anything is alive after 10 seconds either

A) you're doing it wrong
B) it's a Super Villain, Legendary, or Cosmic; and Ego Leech is equally useless in this situation

I actually have my own proposal for how to go about splitting Telekinesis and Ego Blades. I'm almost done with the design document, and I'll be making a post about it when complete. The quick synopsis is that Ego Blades continues to be a heavy-hitting melee set, while TK becomes a tactical control-oriented set based around enemy positioning with knocks and repels. Included are a good many fixes and new powers, including a proposal for the long-sought-after Ego Armor defense passive.

Agreed do this have 2 TK sets one melee one range and add like ten new powers between both sets. This is great idea i hope they make it.
