I just downloaded the demo from steam and finished patching with the browser

When I try to enter the game, it gives me the aformentioned message.

I checked my Cryptic Account, it says I have the Champions Demo activated.

Anything i'm missing?

Yah, Dropped a ticket a few hours ago, no reply as of yet. being patient though ^^

On the off-chance that it's a problem with the game data, delete the following folder:
C:\Program Files\...\Champions Online\LIive\piggs (Or wherever you installed your game. The important part is the "\Live\piggs").
Then, re-download the build on LIVE and relaunch the game.

Let me know if that works or not.

QA was able to reproduce the issues that have been reported from several people on the forums in regards to the Demos. We are looking into it.

The problem with Demos should now be fixed!

Several users had both the Demo and the FreeTrialWeekend tag on their account. When we disabled the FreeTrialWeekend tag this morning, it prohibited those users who also had the Demp tag from entering the game.

Please let me know if you continue to see problems!

I managed to login, but I'm getting a notification that I'm running the demo and need to purchase the full version. I think I might've been tagged as a demo account, instead of a retail one?
