Ok, so yes, I am hispanic... I know it's been a long while since I've played... but did some kind of Nazi take over the CO world in my absence? Why can't I make my champions skin match my own?? I could have sworn the last time I logged in, my toon looked like me.... I tried the costume creator... and there is every color in there except for hispanic tones, and african-american tones.... O.o

Last time I checked, there were tanner tones, although I haven't touched the skin section in some time. I also heard there was a glitch where the skin pallete was replaced witht he costume colors pallete, so I don't know if it may be that or if it was fixed.

Aha! That must be it!! Yeah, because I don't remember any of those colors being available for my skin the last time I made a toon, thank's, I was really not looking forward to trying to pass my "Illegal Cleaning Lady" off with some weird orange skin tone.

Strange for me the switched palette is fixed. If you are still showing the wrong palette, don't worry, as the game actually selects the nearest skin tone from the original palette anyhow.

The palette glitch should have been fixed last week.

I have two Hispanic characters and one Haitian made within the last two weeks, and all the dark skin tones are there.

HI... I'm Hispanic and my skin is white.

But seriously, the palette is bugged and the VB patch contains the fix.

Apparently a few of the Sticks in the Mud from the vulgar chat thread decided Latino and Latina based comic characters were a little too controversial for the Champs universe thus the limited palette of skin choice colors.

They should change the name of the game from champions online to FASCIST ONLINE ;)

Is that all you ever complain about?

Also it was infact a color palette bug. I have my palettes back it seems, though. Atleast last I checked.

Congratulations, you have proved that you cannot read and are a bigger bigot than you claim Cryptic to be. The palette still selects the colours as they were, it just appears different due to a bug which has been fixed. This has been mentioned on this thread AND by Cryptic.
