Same here, I can get past the ape by alt tabbing out and letting it load in background, but then its server not responding till I get disconnected.

I'm having the same problems. It was fine this morning then it randomly disconnected me and since then the Website, patcher and loading screens are rediculously slow. If the loading bar gets to 90% loaded then it gives me the disconnected from the server message and just sits there.

Almost certainly nothing at all to do with STO. The CO population logging on all at once must be causing pressure.
Additional - Slight troll, but something to jolly the mood of the thread.

North American player here...
It would be nice if cryptic could have some semblance of server stability for my monthly fee.

Bump for great justice. Would be totally stellar if I could play the game I'm paying to play...

Still waiting to load the map. Ten minutes of "server not responding" messages.
I should expect something: cryptic did "maintenance" today.

Maybe percussion maintenance... Tell them hitting the servers wont make them work any better.

The worst is that there is another thread like this one in the "PC & Technical Issue" section of the forum and no dev post a reply.

Same problems here. Can't get into the game and the CO website is a slog too. No problems surfing elsewhere or playing other online games (I like FE aswell, so sue me).
(Oh, playing from the EU too)

Update 1: I've spoken to Coderanger and some other folks, this appears to be a problem affecting certain European ISPs, all of our equipment is working fine.
We are investigating further, and will continue to update you all as we learn more.
Thank you for your patience,

Pass along then that I'm in Canada and having the exact same issue on a Canadian ISP (Cogeco cable). It's not restricted to Europe only.

Taking me forever to get to this forum and FINALLY i can post after 45 minutes of fighting it:
Im in the UK, with Virgin Media who insist my connection is fine 100%. Tests performed.
Every other website being absolutely rapid confirms this.

If Canada is affected as well, ignoring the middle east and Asia (I guess they dont make up much of your player base) then Americans are the only people not affected by this right?

I'm on Virgin in the UK and have no problems at all so I'm not sure it's purely an ISP issue given some other Brits on Virgin are having trouble.

I'm in the UK with AOL as my ISP and am having the same problems. About an hour ago the forums were very slow was well, but they seem to be better now. 3 attempts at logging in, the first got disconnected after a long wait retrieving charcaters. The second actually managed to get me in but it took 20 minutes with lots iof server not responding messages and then the game was unplayable due to rubberbanding. The third attempt just hung checking the version in the patcher.
I taking this as a sign to get an early night for once, and hope this gets sorted out by tomorrow

I'm wondering why this issue affects only Champions and not other mmorpg: if the problem is ISP-side we should experience the same issue with coh and other US-server-base-games, but that is not.
