I can't enter the Powerhouse nor certain doors anymore.

I can still level and complete quests but I cannot enter Powerhouse (in any city) anymore nor the vault in the desert. I created a trial account and was able to enter Champion HQ with no problem--which would eliminate it being my computer. Is there something wrong with that account?

In the meantime, I'm going to try reinstalling just in case. I did recently update my video card driver to nvidia's latest for my 8800 GTX (196.75). However, like I said, I am still able to enter certain doors.

Any thoughts?

You cant enter in the rad vault in the desert after compleating the desert crisis and exiting it to Burning Sands. So you have trial, with referral code? I believe you can enter only in canada and desert crisiszones. And use Powerhouse at those zones.

Ok, that makes sense about the Powerhouse. However, I cannot enter the vault to finish the initial desert storyline. It seems like a bug or something cuz I have another character that is lvl15 and is currently fighting in Millenium City. The friend trial only limitation is that you cannot level past 15. You still earn experience but you can't gain anything by it anymore. For example, my level 15 archer has over 600k experience. lol

The other character I created is barely level 10 but stuck in the first desert area where all the iradiates are in the camp. I also tried all my other characters and none of them can enter powerhouse in any area.

I reinstalled the game client but that didn't help. Unless the trial somehow disabled opening certain doors then the only thing left is to go back to the previous video driver. I suppose it could be a video driver glitch.

The friend trial is supposed to be no time limit but you're just limited to creating 6 characters and each at level 15.

The regular trial demo won't even let u leave Champion City nor level past 8.

EDIT ADD: I can't even use the airplane/helicopter to travel between Canada and Desert.

It would seem that the Friend trial that originally used only lasts for a certain amount of time. Sure, you can still level and complete quests but you can't enter Powerhouse nor exit the area you're in once it expires. Am I wrong?

Actually, the friend trial does allow you to do everything except zone chat (you can do local) and private message people who are not your friend. Nor can you access the Super Group Vault. Although, you can join Super Groups and you can keep leveling past 15, however, it won't actually show past 15. In other words, you'll have level 15 stats but have the points of whatever level you get to in experience points.

At any rate, I've long since subscribed and have been the leader of Zompocalypse for 7 months now. Champions Online is a sweet game and I'm glad I subscribed.

Also, the Free2Play campaign should be starting probably next month. Free trial accounts now will be called Silver accounts when it's Free2Play. Of course, there will be similar limitations except that you will be able to level to 40 and there's no trial expiration. That will be great for the game!

Of course, the Gold members (subscribers) will also be getting more than they are now. One main feature that I'm excited about is getting 400 Cryptic points every month to spend. They should've been doing that all along. Although, I can see why they don't. Most people wouldn't buy points if they were merely on a trial account.
